What is CANNA Start?

CANNA Start is a balanced, one-component nutrient solution specially developed for seedlings and rooted cuttings . It provides all the essential macro- and micronutrients young plants need to develop into strong, healthy specimens . CANNA Start is compatible with various growing media —such as rockwool cubes, coco pellets, Jiffys, seed compost, and other substrates—but is not suitable for recirculating systems or cloning machines .

Application of CANNA Start:

1. Shake bottle well before use.
2. Fill the nutrient tank with water.
3. Dose 40 ml CANNA Start to 10 liters of water ( dilution ratio 1:250 ).
4. Stir thoroughly until the solution is completely mixed.

Recommended values:

• EC value: 0.7–1.3 mS/cm² (solution + water)
• pH value: 5.2–6.2 – depending on the substrate used

Additional tips:

• After repotting, switch to the appropriate CANNA Vega product (depending on the medium: TERRA, COCO, HYDRO or AQUA).
• Use in combination with CANNA RHIZOTONIC to further improve root development and plant health .
